AEGIS SURVEILLANCE DESIGN & INSTALLATION PROCESS (ASDIP)
The ASDIP is Aegis’s comprehensive surveillance system planning, installation and support methodology. The ASDIP starts with a consultation and thorough on-site survey, followed by a customer security camera system design proposal including a hassle-free installation. surveillance system training, and customer support including maintenance services.
As part of the ASDIP, Aegis works closely with local police departments to ensure compliance with all codes and ordinances.
The assessment phase of the ASDIP includes an introduction of all the ASDIP phases. The main objectives of the assessment phase are to:
– Ensure a complete understanding between Aegis and the client of the existing security vulnerabilities.
– Perform a thorough assessment of the client’s identified and unidentified surveillance needs
– Prepare a complete client site survey and surveillance camera and monitoring system strategy proposal, including all system requirements.
Client Security Camera System Goals Identification of key client security goals and a snapshot of what a successful security camera system would accomplish.
Security Camera System Requirements Requirements are typically segmented by functional areas (intrusion points, video surveillance accessibility) and represent an outline of the functional areas of the proposed security camera system design platform.
Security Camera System Budget Every security camera system project must include a preliminary budget range to ensure that the financial restrictions are taken into consideration during the assessment phase. It is not uncommon for clients to have system desirables that force the security camera system project out of the desired cost model.
Security Camera System Installation Timeline Just as important as the system budget, the installation timeline is necessary to ensure expectations and deadlines are met.
Security System Design The team follows the client security camera system assessment and strategy proposal developed during the assessment phase to efficiently design a security camera system that meets the client’s budgetary and installation timing requirements.
Security Camera System Installation Building on a comprehensive assessment and design, the system installation is executed efficiently, on-time and on-budget. During the install phase, the Aegis lead installation technician is the key contact with the client and ensures the surveillance system is installed according to the proposed system design.
Any unexpected conditions or client requested surveillance system changes identified during the installation phase will be fully documented for immediate resolution with the client and reconciliation with the security camera system design.
Security Camera System Testing Once the security camera system is fully installed, the entire system as well as each surveillance camera is fully tested for proper functionality according to the system expectations. Once the camera system has passed all function tests, it is certified for active use by the lead security camera installation technician.
Training and Documentation Aegis provides each client with security camera system documentation and training for all users. Documentation includes all surveillance system manuals and information. Surveillance system training is made easy for the client and can be performed on-site upon completion of the installation.
To confirm completion of the system training, Aegis ensures that every system user is fully capable of and confident in using the installed security camera system.
Life-Cycle System Maintenance, Service and Support The quality of ongoing security camera system support is equally as important as the surveillance system installation. Aegis provides complete system support including maintenance and service throughout the system life-cycle.
100% Service Guarantee If an Aegis security camera surveillance system should require emergency service, a security camera systems technician will be on-site within two hours.
